Post Secondary Type of School: 4 year university or community college

Specific Requirements for Applying: Students interested in entering the field of Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.

Attendance Requirement: Full-Time Student

Required Participation in School Activities: Yes

Required Participation in Community Activities: Yes

Additional Qualifications: A student supported by a parent or guardian who has successfully completed at least seven (7) years of service with the EGUSD. In any given year, should the selection committee process end up in a draw, then it is preferred that the recipient is a dependent of a classified employee. In the case more than one parent or guardian is employed by EGUSD, then use the parent or guardian with the most EGUSD longevitity service to qualify the student. Scholarship owner: Constantine I. Baranoff

Constantine I. Baranoff was involved in the funding, design, and construction of educational facilities for over 40 years in Elk Grove, Sacramento City and Lodi Unified School Districts. In Elk Grove, since 1981, he has planned, constructed and opened 40 new schools, completed significant additions and/or modernizations at the schools that were built prior to 1980.
