Additional Qualifications: (1) Applicant must have played football
(2) Essay required. Essay should describe why football is important to applicant.
(3) If there is no EGHS football player who meets the requirements of the Joseph Nurre Memorial Football Scholarship, the annual allocation will be given to a foster youth from any Elk Grove-area high school who applied for and was not awarded one of the existing foster youth scholarships. A committee of foster youth educators/social workers will select the recipient using the criteria that applies to the foster youth scholarships.
